This area of the site contains materials that are concerned with the teaching and learning aspects of using an MUVE. Much of this section is taken from the Open Habitat magazine, the full version of which can be downloaded here. If you are a teacher considering using an MUVE in your practice, you will find the two articles by the project tutors (If we can’t build bridges and Aaargh! Why are we all here?) give a good overview of some of the things they wrestled with and some of the ways in which they addressed them, including an innovative Manual of things to do when teaching with a MUVE. The project enabled us to formulate a series of Principles of Good Practice which are offered as a useful starting point for teachers wanting to use MUVEs but who are unsure of quality issues.
